SLO County UndocuSupport partners with trusted local organizations to connect passionate volunteers with meaningful opportunities that directly support undocumented and mixed-status immigrants in our community. 805 Immigrant Rapid Response Network

Rapid Response Volunteer

Various roles available including Community Patrols, Accompaniment for individuals at legal appointments or other high-risk situations, Community Outreach which involves sharing resources and raising awareness at local events, Legal Observer which documents immigration enforcement actions, Dispatcher / Hotline Operator, and Mutual Aid for individuals affected by immigration enforcement activities.

SLO Noor Clinic

Medical, Dental, Vision, Assistants, Technicians, Outreach, Translating, Scribing

Multiple volunteer roles involved with providing free medical, dental and vision care to uninsured adults in San Luis Obispo County and northern Santa Barbara County, regardless of race, ethnicity, immigration status, religion, sexual orientation, or gender. This is a volunteer-based, community supported organization committed to advancing diversity and inclusion by helping ensure that all people across our communities feel valued and have equal access to resources, services, and opportunities provided by SLO Noor Foundation.

Immigrant Hope Arroyo Grande

Paralegal Intern / Paralegal Volunteer

A paralegal is expected to help fill out forms and other duties related to immigration legal processes, answer phone calls and schedule with clients, answer basic questions about our services and organization, and potential to serve at outreach events.

Lumina Alliance

Crisis Line Volunteer

Volunteer on our 24 hour crisis line: this hotline supports survivors who are looking for resources and services to be safe.

Kern Welcoming & Extending Solidarity to Immigrants

Detention Center Visitor

Join monthly visits from SLO County to provide companionship and support to detained individuals. KWESI provides names and identification numbers of people who have requested visits. Transportation is coordinated through local volunteers, and Spanish speaking ability is not required. This meaningful opportunity allows volunteers to offer human connection to those experiencing detention.
